Anders Andersen-Lundby (1841 - 1923) was active/lived in Denmark.  Anders Andersen Lundby is known for Winter landscape painting.

Anders Anderson Lundby was a Danish artist known for his atmospheric winter scenes. Born in a small town near Aalborg, Denmark, Lundby moved to Copenhagen in 1861 and began his painting career within its artistic community.

He left for Germany in 1876 and found renown in Munich, where his landscapes were widely exhibited and he was appointed a Professor of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts.

Celebrated for his brilliant snowscapes, Lundby also painted seascapes and coastal scenes. His work is now in the Neue Pinakothek in Munich, as well as museums in Copenhagen and Trieste, Italy.   ...  [Displaying 600 of 1413 characters.]  Artist bio
